Thursday April 9th (Davis Visit)

THANK YOU DAVIS FAMILY
We are so glad that you came to visit. The house seemed so quiet today with just Rigdon and Madilynn. We already are missing you. I have to keep telling Rigdon that you went back to Utah. It was a total BLAST to have you guys here. We hope you had as much fun as we did. Thank you for everything. Here is a re-cap of our first full day together.
I will post some more tomorrow.

We went to Snoqualmie falls. We hiked down to the bottom. What a hike. It wasn't too bad going down, it was back up that was rough. Thanks everyone for helping me and Rigdon up the mountain. I was still amazed at all of the beauty and to think that I live in the pretty state!!! It was a lot of fun. The weather even held out for our adventure.





We were able to go to the Seattle Temple. The grounds were so gorgeous. The daffodils are in bloom and many of the trees and plants. We all got the chance to touch the temple. It was so beautiful. We even saw a bride and groom that had gotten married that day. I sure can't wait for the day that my sweet nieces make it to the temple. It will be an awesome day.

THE EXPLOSION!!!! Madilynn had a horrible explosion. We had just finished coming down from the Space Needle when I smelled the whiff. Baby Poop!!! I even told Shelly and Mark, "I smell poop! I looked at her back and there was no sign, so I though that the diaper had saved the day. But no such luck. Shelly pointed to her sock, then to my pants, and then on the ground. Madilynn left a trail of mustard poop for about 5 feet. YUCK!!!!! Well Madilynn, you have left your mark on SEATTLE.

Here are my super cute nieces just below the space needle. They were being so patient while we changed the explosion!!!

What a great view from Queen Anne Hill. We went to Kerry Park and let the kids play. Mark and Trever took pictures. Shelly, Michelle, and I walked down a fun street lined with beautiful older homes. It was a great ending to such a good day.
