Last Saturday we headed out to find the Perfect Tree.
We went to
theRED BARN TREE FARM in Orting.
It was a blast. Rigdon of course had the most fun. He wanted every little tree that he could see in sight. Every time Trever and I found a tall, bushy, nicely shaped tree, Rigdon would say, "No, it's too big. How about this one?" and then he would point to the smallest shrub that he could see.

We finally found the right tree, and my Manly Man cut down our tree. Then we started a new family tradition, thanks to Trever and Rigdon. We now have to kiss the stump of our tree and tell the tree stump, thank you. :) Even Madi kissed the stump.

We strapped the Tree down to the Neon and took a ride on the train. Then it was time to head home and set it all up. I of course put the lights on the tree, like I usually do, and then we decorated the tree on Sunday. I am not so sure about who had more fun with decorating the tree.
A picture is worth a thousand words. . .
